An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team at our University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire, Coventry City Centre & Rugby St Cross sites, as a Band 2 Assistant. Shift pattern over a 7-day week (Sun-Sat). You will be part of a large clinical team, on numerous sites, providing support to various staff groups including Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department. Duties involve assisting with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations, coordinating the movement of inpatients with porters, cleaning of scan rooms and stock control. It is essential the successful candidate enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in patient care. You must have excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team, but also have the ability to use your initiative and work individually.
