We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our friendly team at Kings Norton Hospital in Birmingham. This is a 9-month maternity leave cover, with the possibility of extension to 12 months. We are committed to providing high-quality intensive treatment in a safe, caring, and secure environment for adults of all genders with severe and complex mental health conditions. At Kings Norton Hospital, we have three acute wards catering to patients who need to step down from a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or those experiencing complex, severe, or prolonged mental health issues. Facilities include therapy rooms, an occupational therapy kitchen, and a gym to help individuals regain life skills and work towards independent living. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
