We are seeking a passionate and ambitiousSpecial Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)to join our dynamic team on afull-time basis . About the RoleAs SENCO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all children, regardless of their ability or additional needs, have access to high-quality education and the support they need to thrive. Working closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body, you will lead the school’s approach toinclusive education , advising and supporting staff to implement effective strategies that enable every child to reach their full potential. You will be responsible for: Leading anddeveloping SEND provisionacross the school. Supporting teachers in deliveringQuality First Teachingto meet the diverse needs of all pupils. Identifying and assessingpupils with SEND, ensuring appropriate interventions and support plans are in place. Managing theSEND registerand overseeing the implementation and review ofEHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) . Working collaboratively with external agencies, parents, and carers to provide aholistic support systemfor pupils. Leadingstaff trainingand development in SEND best practices. Ensuring the school remains compliant withSEND legislation and best practices , including the SEND Code of Practice.
