Role: Support Worker Pay Rate: £12.40 Per Hour Shifts: Days and Nights Full-time - 42 hours per week Duties IncludeSupporting people with disabilities, including profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to enable positive outcomes as per support plans. Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork. Providing emotional and practical support. Supporting individuals to access community facilities and be involved in community groups. Building robust relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life. Empowering individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests. Person SpecificationsYou must be Female for this role Experience within the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is essential. Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs, and challenging behaviours. Full UK Manual Driving Licence preferred. Experience with EUPD is required. Ability to multi-task, good time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility. IT literate. A positive ‘can do’ attitude. Good communication skills. Compassionate, caring, and positive personality. Passion for making a difference in people's lives. Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
