Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join its progressive anaesthesia department. Our surgical specialties, include complex areas like neurosurgery, cardiothoracics, hepatobiliary surgery, and Europe's largest solid organ transplant program. The role also involves pre-operative care, regional anaesthesia, and the Enhanced Postoperative Care Unit. As a Level 1 Trauma Centre, the hospital is renowned for trauma and combat injury care. The department, consisting of over 100 consultants, offers strong educational support, opportunities for research, and involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in collaboration with Birmingham and Aston universities.
