The successful candidate will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality research across the gynaecology, obstetric, neonatal & fertility specialities. This includes supporting NIHR portfolio and commercial clinical trials as well as observational studies in outpatient, inpatient, and maternity settings. Undertake all relevant research and study specific training. Ensure compliance throughout, with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance Support each-other as a team, maintaining positive team culture. Communicate well, be organized, proactive and ready to learn. Boots on the ground, you will be approaching patients and working in and out of antenatal clinic and delivery suite. This is a significant and important part of the role and means being physically ready to be on your feet like any clinical post. We welcome creative thinking and team work when it comes to overcoming hurdles to research delivery. Investing in a strong preceptorship as a start to the job is important so previous experience in daily research delivery is non-essential. The post holder will be required to meet all of the essential criteria within the job description and person specifications. The post is 18.75h per week flexible / compressed hours would be considered if they can be demonstrated to meet the needs of the service.
