Job DescriptionEurofins Environment Testing seeks a Service Center Supervisor at our Portsmouth, New Hampshire location. This full-time role is scheduled Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with occasional overtime, evening, or weekend hours depending on workload. The candidate must be comfortable working independently in the service center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Courier duties (~25% of time) Pick-up and delivery of water, soil, and air samples to/from the lab Receiving samples, unpacking, labeling, scanning documentation, and sample login Data entry with high attention to detail Verifying sample preservation according to SOPs Delivering samples to appropriate storage areas Producing bottle kits, shipping, receiving, and login duties Cleaning equipment per SOPs Following safety practices and company policies Maintaining quality, hold times, and turnaround times Communicating with courier coordinators Logging courier schedules and vehicle maintenance records Ensuring a safe work environment in shipping/receiving areas Disposing of samples in compliance with EPA and EH&S guidelines Maintaining delivery truck and restocking supplies Verifying outgoing shipments and interacting professionally with clients and project managers Ideal Candidate Attributes:Professional, knowledgeable, confident, and friendly demeanor Customer service experience Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, detail-oriented, able to follow complex instructions Organizational skills and ability to handle varying workloads Map reading and navigation skills Valid US driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift 55 lbs routinely and work standing most of the day Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Explorer, Excel, Word) Clean valid US driver’s license Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship This description provides a general overview of the role.
