Mott MacDonald is a global consultancy whose people do exactly that.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Associate/Projects Director or other defined line manager in business management, sales and the running of a cost consultancy team and subsequent achievement of project and business goals.What you will contribute to the Mott MacDonald team;Assist with the management of a Cost Consultancy team Take part in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customer Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports/liaison with sub-divisional manager Assist with securing new and repeat business in line with the sub-divisional budget Comply with QES system and Group/Unit directives Preparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the brief Potential to engage with line management dutiesRequired For The Position Senior Quantity SurveyorDegree qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject (or equivalent) Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy Demonstrable track record of working in the management services environment Expertise in stakeholder management Flexibility in work location and travel Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred Please be advised that offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security ClearancePreferred, But Not RequiredMRICS qualified Excellent report writing skills Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work Proactive and self-motivated Client side or consultancy experience Procurement/ pre contract experience Effective time managementWe are actively recruiting a diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities we serve.
