If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to help shape the future of nuclear energy, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.The OpportunityEDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E)is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. As a result, a Technical Directorate is being established to oversee the engineering disciplines and technical expertise needed to successfully deliver these projects through EPR-Es integrated teams.Youll be part of a dynamic commercial team supporting the delivery of key scopes within the Responsible Designer (RD) contract for HPC. Based at Aztec West, youll use your commercial acumen to manage civil design contracts, support project delivery, and contribute to the success of both Hinkley Point C and future replication at Sizewell C.Pay, Benefits & CultureThe salary range associated with this role starts from 54,000 - 64,000 (grade B/C). Your role will involve developing commercial strategies, negotiating contract changes, and ensuring that all activities align with governance and assurance frameworks.Working closely with civil engineering teams in both the UK and France, youll provide expert commercial advice and support. Youll also collaborate with cost, risk, and schedule teams to ensure consistent project progress and deliver clear, actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients.Your ability to analyse and present financial and contractual data will be key to driving informed decisions. Youll play a vital role in ensuring that contracts are administered effectively and that commercial outcomes support the success of the wider project.Who You AreYou bring strong commercial and contract management skills, with a solid understanding of best practice methodologies.
