At Belmont Secondary School, youll teach in a nurturing, inclusive setting where your subject knowledge and creativity will inspire pupils to succeedacademically and personally.Working under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team and in line with school policies, youll deliver high-quality English teaching tailored to the needs of individual learners or small groups.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons aligned with the schools curriculumTeach individual students or small groups in a supportive learning environmentMonitor, record, and report on pupil progress and adapt strategies to ensure successDevelop and implement individual education and behaviour plans in collaboration with colleaguesContribute to school-wide initiatives aligned with the School Development PlanEnsure classroom organisation and resources promote effective and stimulating learningTake responsibility for English subject development across relevant key stagesMaintain a safe learning environment, adhering to risk assessments on and off sitePromote the educational, social, and moral development of students in line with the schools ethosQualifications & RequirementsA degree in English QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCEStrong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students of all abilitiesExperience of planning and delivering lessons that meet diverse learning needsA commitment to upholding the Teachers' Standards and contributing to whole-school developmentAbout the SchoolBelmont Secondary is an independent, specialist day school for boys 11 to 18, catering for pupilswith a wide range of needs.
