We’re looking for a chemistry graduate or someone with a strong background in chemical handling to join our technical services team. In this field-based role, you’ll visit industrial, laboratory, and educational sites across the South East to identify, classify, and safely pack hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for compliant transport and disposal. This is a unique opportunity for someone who: Wants to apply their chemical knowledge in the real worldEnjoys being hands-on and mobile rather than desk-basedIs passionate about environmental protection and chemical safetyRole AccountabilitiesTravel to client sites to identify and categorise waste chemicalsAccurately list chemicals and complete associated documentationSafely pack chemicals in accordance with ADR transport regulationsDrive a company-provided vehicle to transport collected waste materials to licensed facilitiesEnsure full compliance with environmental and transport legislationCommunicate with customers, internal teams and external waste partnersPromote safe handling and sustainable practicesRequirementsDegree in Chemistry or a related science (or equivalent experience)Full UK driving licenceStrong knowledge of chemicals with associated risks and hazardsComfortable working independently and in a mobile roleKnowledge of hazardous waste, COSHH, or ADR regulations desirable – (training provided)Motivated by safety, compliance, and environmental responsibilityOther InformationWe are a leading UK environmental services provider, independently owned and operating with a strong family business ethos.
