We are looking for a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our established multidisciplinary team at Perry Tree Centre, BirminghamYou will work closely alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to support and deliver a short term progressive rehabilitation programme; aiding our patients to reach their maximum functional ability and to help them achieve goals set. The role can be physically demanding but very rewarding.The successful candidate will require good written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate.Please note: The split of time between working with the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams will fluctuate depending on the needs of the service.To assist the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and with the assessment and ongoing therapeutic management of In-Patients. Conditions may include complex permanent disabilities, multiple pathologies, life-limiting conditions and challenging and unpredictable behaviours. To assist the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering the Therapy Service within the unit, the community and with pre- discharge assessments of patients within their own homes. Reporting back to the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists on the outcomes of delegated treatments. To work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team supporting registered health practitioners, contributing to the effectiveness of the team working within the Discharge to Assess model.
