It is situated in a quiet residential area between Beeston and Lenton Abbey, close to a town centre with amenities. Managed by a Scheme Manager, it is a private development for the over 55s. We are now seeking a Scheme Manager to assist the Delivery Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the scheme. The role involves delivering an on-site housing management service that supports residents to lead independent lives in a safe environment. Your responsibilities will include carrying out well-being checks, responding to changes in circumstances, managing risks including safeguarding, and engaging with residents and their families. You will support the development of well-being and social initiatives, both onsite and virtually, to address issues like loneliness, well-being, and dementia awareness. You will also perform health & safety, fire safety, and warden call system checks, ensuring compliance and high service standards. The role requires periodic support at Highgates in Derby to assist during holidays and as needed. The ideal candidate: Experience in a housing environment or recent frontline customer service experience. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn in-house systems. Strong record-keeping skills for accurate information management. A motivated, organized self-starter passionate about delivering innovative services. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and external agencies. Practical and logical thinking with the ability to produce high-quality work and meet deadlines. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, including handling feedback and complaints. Leasehold experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, references, and valid Right to Work documentation.
