What We're Looking ForFull GMC Registration, with a license to practice Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Rehabilitation Medicine (or within 6 months of CCT) A collaborative, MDT-focused approach and confidence working outside of acute hospital settings A passion for supporting people with complex rehabilitation needs Interviews are scheduled to take place on 17 September 2025. Main Duties of the JobAct as Lead Clinician for the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit Provide cross-cover for the PlymNeuro Rehabilitation Unit Deliver outpatient care through clinics and domiciliary visits Opportunities to join the baclofen pump clinic rota, interventional clinics, or support the neuro-community team Play an active role in clinical governance across the stroke pathway You will be supported by a team of four Rehabilitation Medicine Consultants (two based at Mount Gould and two at University Hospitals Plymouth), with cross-cover primarily provided by colleagues at Mount Gould. We are exploring arotational modelacross stroke, neurorehabilitation, and community services to enhance leadership and exposure across settings. Person SpecificationEssential Experience: Training and wide experience in rehab medicine Strong general medicine background and competency for managing emergencies Experience working with managers to improve services Desirable Experience: Managing limb spasticity with botulinum toxin Special interest or advanced experience in prosthetics, major trauma Knowledge of NHS operations Evidence of service development and leadership Qualifications: MRCP (UK) or equivalent Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Stroke Medicine (or within 6 months of CCT) Desirable qualifications include Higher Qualification in Stroke and Teaching & Learning qualifications.
