The Mechanical Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient delivery of mechanical scopes on site. As the Mechanical Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities within your designated area are suitably planned and approved to allow the safe execution of the required work. You will be site based in the PUMA project site office. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation and Electrical project ensuring the efficiency and safety of all construction activities taking place on site As a Mechanical Superintendent, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to: Ensure BUK HSE safety policies and procedures are implemented on site Ensure supervision are putting men to work safely Partake in HSE audits on site Assess all mechanical activities required on site Provide technical support for task reviews as required Ensure the mechanical supervision under your control are planning their activities in line with the project schedule Collaborate with project / construction managers, engineers, and site supervision to allow the planned works to be executed on time Carry out assessments and review supervisor assessments of BUK mechanical trades personnel Review / create method statements and risk assessments for all mechanical scope Review documentation and RAMS from vendors / subcontractors prior to commencement on site Maintain work force productivity by ensuring start / finish / break times are adhered to Identify potential Simops / clashes and proactively address them to avoid delays or safety concerns Liaise with the Work Pack Manager to ensure Installation Work Packs have been created and approved in a timely manner to allow activities to proceed on schedule Attend Daily Coordination meetings and any other meetings as required Liaise with other superintendents to ensure efficient use of blue collar resources If you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.#J-18808-Ljbffr
