My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Planner to join their busy transport operation near Boston.Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.Purpose of the Role:To manage and coordinate the day-to-day traffic operations, ensuring all planned activities run efficiently and any issues are dealt with promptly to minimise disruption.Key Responsibilities:Take a full handover briefing at the start of each shift.Review and record the status of loaded vehicles and trailers.Identify any vehicles or trailers that are off-road (VOR) or under maintenance, and liaise with the maintenance team as necessary.Review daily transport sheets to ensure all jobs are covered with allocated drivers.Communicate with customers to confirm vehicle loads and delivery details.Maintain clear and effective communication channels with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and their representatives.Monitor scheduled runs and proactively optimise the use of return (backload) opportunities, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.TPBN1_UKTJ
