Join a fantastic team of current Personal Care Assistants who provide personal care and assist with aspects of daily living.Pay & Benefits:Hours: Holiday support is required - equating to 28 days per annum (planned in with notice to prepare your schedule)Start Date: ASAPPay Rate: 16.56 per hourPersonal care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.About Our ClientOur client is looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistant in the Newcastle area on a adhoc basis to support him when he goes on holiday abroad with family (around 28 days per year.)The client has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with all aspects of life including personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy and general tasks around his home, so driving will be essential for this role.Prior care experience is not required as all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.About YouYou are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.You will need to be:physically fit, calm, patient and caringfluent in the English languagereliable and trustworthya non-smokerorganised and able to work on your own initiativea positive individual with a good sense of humora mature and responsible individualhave excellent hearing and communication skillsclean and tidy in both your appearance and wayshave a valid passportYou must respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.Application Process: To apply, please submit a cover letter describing your interests and explaining why you would be a suitable candidate for this unique and rewarding position.Training and Development: Full training in the client's particular needs will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals without previous care experience.
