Waterhouse-Kern Associates is proud to be partnering with a leading lending business on 2 analyst positions within the Treasury function.Job Role:The successful applicant will be responsible for the operational activities that arise from the client's secured funding programmes such as securitisations, warehouse lines and forward flow agreements. You will work in the team that actions the daily tasks associated with such programmes and the produces the required servicer and investor reporting.You will also be responsible for monitoring Paratus’ adherence to the eligibility criteria and concentration limits within these secured funding programmes.Reporting to the Director of Treasury and ALM, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of secured funding documentation and operations, a capacity to develop and embed processes that deliver efficient outcomes, strong risk culture ethos, be an expert on Excel and who shows a strong desire to learn and improve.Key Accountabilities:• Monthly/quarterly servicer and investor reporting for secured funding programmes• Allocation of mortgage loans to different funding sources in line with agreed internal criteria• Provision of notices to funding partners• Control of daily cashflow movements• Support the establishment of the operational structures• Monitoring of business adherence to the eligibility criteria and concentration limits documented within each funding programme• Support management of the relationship with the operational teams in the businesses external counterparties• Support the development & maintenance of strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provision of support to key business initiativesEssential Competencies:• A proven self-starter with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders• In depth knowledge of secured funding and cash management• Process improvement experience• Strong analytical and mathematical skills• Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesEssential Skills/Qualifications:• Financial services experience• Strong Attention to detail• Knowledge of treasury and financial systems• Advanced level of Microsoft Excel – experience of building and streamlining excel work files• Self-motivated and enthusiastic• Pro-active and ability to work efficiently on their ownDesirable Skills/Qualifications:• Related Treasury of Finance qualification preferred• Mortgage industry knowledge
