Building Services Manager Location: North West LondonAn established Tier 1 main contractor delivering high-quality residential and regeneration projects across the UK is seeking a Building Services Manager to join its team in North West London. Known for their strong community focus and commitment to sustainable delivery, this contractor partners closely with local authorities and housing associations to deliver long-term, place-making developments.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and commercially aware building services professional to join a business with a strong order book, collaborative culture, and real prospects for progression.The RoleYou will oversee the full MEP coordination and technical delivery across large-scale residential schemes (typically £30m–£100m), supporting the project through design, procurement, delivery, and commissioning phases. The role is both office and site-based, with a focus on driving quality, compliance, and programme performance.Key Responsibilities:Manage MEP design development and provide technical oversight through RIBA stagesLiaise with consultants, subcontractors, and client-side representatives to ensure smooth coordinationReview and approve technical submissions, designs, and installation methodologiesSupport the commercial team with package scoping, procurement input, and cost reviewsMonitor on-site MEP works for quality, progress, and compliance with regulatory standardsLead services commissioning plans and witness testing through to handoverContribute to risk reviews, buildability workshops, and programme managementAbout YouBackground in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (degree or HNC/HND)Proven experience in a Building Services Manager or MEP Coordinator role within residential or regeneration projectsStrong understanding of building regulations, sustainability standards (SAP, Part L, etc.), and compliance requirementsCapable of managing MEP design, installation, and commissioning processes end-to-endProactive communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teamsPassion for quality and driving performance on socially focused developmentsWhat’s on OfferLong-term opportunity with a national contractor known for staff retention and career developmentProjects with real social value and impact, often working in partnership with local communitiesStrong support structure, including design, sustainability, and commissioning specialists
