Position: Manufacturing Scientist - EEM Technical ServicesLocation: Hybrid - Speke, LiverpoolClient: Global PharmaceuticalPlanet Pharma are partnered with a global pharmaceutical company specialising in pharmaceutical drug development as well as animal health, our client is currently looking for a Manufacturing Scientist Associate - EEM Technical Services, for a initially 12 months contract, with majority of the time based in the office in Liverpool.Main Responsibilities:Provide expertise in packaging processes and materialsRepresent TSMS in cross-functional process team meetingsOversee change management activitiesMaintain key manufacturing documentation (e.g., SOPs, MPRs)Write and support technical reports and process metricsVisit contract manufacturers to assess performance and resolve technical issuesEnsure control strategies are in place for assigned productsIdentify and support continuous improvement opportunitiesContribute to Annual Product Reviews (APRs) / Product Quality Reviews (PQRs)Prepare technical position papers for regulatory or internal useManage product and process transfers from a technical support perspectiveAssist with investigations into deviations and product complaintsSupport new product introductions and tech transfersAct as main technical contact for assigned contract manufacturersMain Requirements:Advanced degree or equivalent experience in life sciences or engineeringFluent in English and one other European language5+ years in pharma or chemical production, technical services, or packagingStrong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and regulationsSkilled in applied statistics and data-driven problem solvingExperienced in tech transfer and managing manufacturing-scale projectsEffective communicator with strong project and team management skillsProficient in writing technical reports and GMP-compliant documentationWilling and able to travel on short notice when neededABOUT PLANET PHARMAPlanet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
