Income OfficerWe’re currently working with a Local Authority that is looking to recruit an experienced Income Officer to manage a patch of 400 properties and take responsibility for maximising rental income.Duration: 3 months initiallyLocation: West SussexHybrid: 4 days on-site for the first month, dropping to 2 days on-site thereafterHourly Rate: Flexible, depending on experienceHours: 37 per week | Monday to Friday | 09:00am – 17:00pmDBS: Required, Standard CheckKey Responsibilities:Manage a patch of rent accounts and be the first point of contact for residents regarding all types of queries ranging from accounts in credit where the resident is requesting a refund through to attending evictionsMaximise income through early intervention as soon as rent accounts are in arrears with the key emphasis being on personal contact through phone calls and home visitsLead on identifying cases where exceptional knowledge of Universal Credit (UC) regulations will enable the UC Service Centre to make prompt decisionsPrepare instructions for the Legal Team regarding possession and stay hearingProvide cover for other Rental Income Support Officers that demonstrates the highest standards of teamwork and commitment to maximising resident satisfactionEssentials:Full Clean UK Drivers license Previous Income Collection experienceIf this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
