Job Title: Housing Litigation SolicitorLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) + BenefitsAbout the Role:We’re working with a forward-thinking, values-driven law firm to help them hire a Housing Litigation Solicitor to join their well-established team.This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of housing litigation matters in a collaborative, high-energy environment, where colleagues genuinely support one another and cover caseloads when needed. You’ll report to a partner in the housing litigation team and work closely with colleagues across Birmingham and Manchester offices.The successful candidate will need solid technical experience in housing litigation, ideally having handled both possession and disrepair matters, as well as the ability or potential to mentor junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Manage a mixed housing litigation caseload including:Possession proceedingsDisrepair claimsTenancy enforcementInjunctions and tenancy management issuesRepresent clients in court, primarily across the Midlands regionProvide high-quality legal advice and client care in line with the firm’s standardsSupport and mentor junior team members when requiredCollaborate with the wider team, sharing knowledge and case supportMaintain accurate records, time recording, and case progression updatesContribute to a culture of continuous improvement, client service excellence, and team supportKey Skills and Experience:Qualified solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE) with experience in housing litigationConfident managing a diverse caseload, ideally with both disrepair and possession experienceWillingness to travel to courts across the MidlandsExperience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues is highly desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesComfortable working collaboratively in a high-performing, team-oriented environmentWhat Our Client Offers:Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the officeOn-site wellness – access to a gym and yoga studioSupportive team culture – high energy, collaborative, and people-firstOpportunities to mentor and develop others in the teamA genuine commitment to work-life balance and employee wellbeingWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, full-timeIf you’re a passionate housing litigation solicitor looking for meaningful work in a supportive, values-led firm, we’d love to hear from you!
