Priority Drilling have a vacant position for a Contracts Coordinator for a position in the North of England.The position will be site office based and will involve liaison with the customer and internal management in relation to health and safety, control and management of extra works and variations to the contract. The successful Contracts Coordinator will have: Relevant experience in Site contract co-ordination together with recording and implementing variation orders issued by the client together with monitoring and recording changes to the scope of work as defined in the bill of quantities and job specification.Valid permission to work in the UK, and ability to relocate or commute to the job locationHealth and Safety qualifications e.g. Nebosh cert/diploma, IOSH membership or other H&S training and/or qualifications Responsibilities: Ensuring that all of the Works Requirements are undertaken in line with Priority Drilling and the customers requirements.Manage all Health and Safety aspects of the projectInitiate, record and maintain daily progress meetings with clients and Priority Drilling managementUpdate the contract program to reflect changes in the scope and extra works.Evaluate current risk assessments, standard operating procedures and method statements during the contract and update with Priority Health and Safety department.Prepare valuations of extra works and variation orders for submission on a two weekly basis.Prepare and submit daily progress reportsWork in conjunction with the contracts manager/ Drillers in relation to progress of the contract against the schedule.Preparing and attending progress meetings with clients and/or representativesPriority Drilling is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates from all sections of the community.
