Animal TechnicianWe are working with a leading research institute based on the outskirts of London. Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Animal Technician to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of our cutting-edge research facility.Responsibilities:Adhering to animal health barrier procedures to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and biosecurityDaily husbandry of animals Carrying out health checks on small animals General maintenance of the facilityHandling cage preparation, distribution, and general housekeeping duties within the facilityWhat we’re looking for:A minimum of 5 A*-C or 9-4 GCSEs or an equivalent qualification in scienceA genuine interest in animal care and welfareComputer literacy, with the ability to use databases and systems for record-keepingThe ability to handle and move bulky or heavy items on a daily basisStrong teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environmentExperience working in a similar environmentReady to make a difference in animal science?
