Senior Paralegal Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to support a busy residential conveyancing fee earner. The successful candidate will have essential leasehold experience and the ability to handle conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and confidence in progressing transactions with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:Work one-on-one with a fee earner, providing comprehensive support with their caseload.Manage client onboarding, including AML/ID checks using Thirdfort/Infotrack, and gathering Proof of Funds/Source of Wealth documentation.Prepare and issue Draft Contract Packs for sale transactions, request pre-assignment packs, and order mortgage redemption statements.Order and manage pre-transactional searches, Land Registry searches, and management packs for leasehold transactions.Deal with leasehold-specific enquiries and progress them in a timely manner.Draft initial enquiries and basic mortgage reports.Communicate professionally with clients, agents, lenders, and the other side, providing detailed and timely updates throughout.Organise signing of documentation and handle Exchange of Contracts under supervision, including obtaining Authority to Exchange and signing off Pre-Exchange Checklists.Independently prepare Completion Packs and complete post-completion duties, including submitting SDLT and Notices to Landlords/Managing Agents.Monitor incoming and outgoing post, escalating issues appropriately.Maintain high levels of compliance in accordance with company procedures and regulatory obligations.Prioritise urgent requests and ensure client service remains at a consistently high standard.Skills and Experience:Minimum 2–3 years' experience in residential conveyancing with proven ability to handle transactions from start to finish.Leasehold conveyancing experience is essential.Strong understanding of both freehold and leasehold property transactions.Excellent working knowledge of case management systems, particularly Hoowla, as well as LMS and Lender Exchange.Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on telephone manner, conflict resolution, and managing expectations.Key Attributes:Ability to work independently and show initiative.Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised.Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.Committed to high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.Benefits of working at Leadenhall Law Group:Work one to one with a conveyancing solicitor/conveyancing executive.Full case management system support20 days Annual Leave Entitlement.Additional day leave for employee's birthdayPension ContributionPremium Vitality Health Care cover4 days in the office & 1 day working from home after successful probation period.Office closure for Christmas.
