Job SummaryThe Functional Consultant's main responsibility is to implement our revenue management applications into the customer's ERP e.g. Microsoft D365, SAP etc. You will be responsible for providing high-quality business and software implementation expertise to client's customers and support the customers either on-site or remotely during the Analysis, Design, Build and Deploy stages of the engagement and post go live support.What You'll DoResponsible for the functional analysis, design, testing and deployment of client's applications on both large and smaller scale ERP projectsLeads requirements gathering, solution design and fit gap analysis with the business process owners and subject matter experts providing leadership in business process management activitiesWorks closely with the implementation partner to ensure the design for the finance, accounting, order to cash, purchase to pay and related business operations are sound and work well with the solutions being implemented throughout the project as a wholeUtilizes the client's Project Methodologies tailored to the customersTrain and create documentation for subject matter experts on configuration and functionalityLead meetings and demonstrate the intended designAssist with data conversion and perform data migration activitiesCreate and adhere to cutover tasks and scheduleAct as a conduit between Customers and Client's Technical teamsMay work on multiple projects simultaneouslySupports customer User Acceptance Testing, Deployment and Post Go live activitiesMaintain a high-level overview of consultancy competence and domain knowledge of ERP productsWhat You'll Bring3-5 years of previous experience with Microsoft AX and D365 software implementations, in the capacity of a Functional ConsultantHands-on experience with large scale, D365 F&O implementations is required for this roleDemonstrable functional expertise in Pricing, Trade & Logistics and/or Finance modulesIn-depth expertise on Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processesUnderstanding of financial operations and processes, including Chart of Accounts, Accruals, and Journal entriesDemonstrable business analysis experienceBachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or similarPreferred ExperienceHave worked in providing systems implementation consultancy in Finance, Accounting or Information systems at systems integration consultancy or fortune 500 companiesMicrosoft Certified Professional Dynamics CertificationsJob TitleOnce hired this person will have the title Functional Consultant
