Our collections merge innovative silhouettes with precise construction, exploring the future of textile embellishment and artisanal craft.We are seeking a talented Designer to join our studio team and collaborate closely with us in shaping the vision and development of upcoming collections.Role OverviewAs Designer, you will be responsible for developing products across the collection—from initial concept through to final sample. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge, a confident creative hand in both sketching and draping, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced studio environment.You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, pattern cutters, and production team to deliver innovative, high-quality pieces that align with the brand’s vision and seasonal direction. Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch seasonal concepts, materials, and visual references to inform and develop cohesive collections.Develop prototypes and toiles through draping on the stand, translating ideas into tangible forms.Oversee fittings and collaborate with the development team to make pattern and construction adjustments.Prepare detailed tech packs and specifications to guide sampling and production processes.Source fabrics, trims, and components aligned with seasonal direction and design intent.Support the creative direction with moodboards, colour palettes, and presentation materials.Collaborate with the team to ensure designs are executed to a high standard and within production timelines.Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Key Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in womenswear design, preferably within contemporary or designer-led brands.Strong sketching skills with the ability to clearly communicate design concepts visually.Confident in draping and working with toiles on the stand to develop silhouette and structure.Solid understanding of garment construction, finishing techniques, and fabric behaviour.Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design development and presentation.Highly organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.Excellent time management skills and sharp attention to detail throughout the design process.Collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently when required.Contract & LocationFull-time, in-office role based in London.To apply please shareYour CV and portfolio showcasing relevant work - email to jobs@A short note explaining why you’d like to join SRVC.Examples of collections or projects you’ve led or contributed to.
