Your new role & companyWe are currently exclusively partnering with a market-leading organisation on a genuinely rare and exciting role. The position will lead the employment function within a globally well-recognised organisation with an extremely impressive reputation. This senior legal role will be responsible for all employment law matters across multiple global regions, including Europe, LATAM, APAC, and Canada. The position is all encompassing across employment, and involves advising on complex employment issues, managing litigation and supporting with corporate initiatives. You will be recognised as a leader in the business, and will work closely with business executives as well as the human resources team.You will be joining a global leader in the pharmaceutical sector, as part of a small but fast-paced and high-performing legal team. This role will require collaboration and extensive expertise in employment law.£140,000 - £160,000+ base salary and an impressive total package including bonus, car allowance and shares.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for employment law matters across international regions, including Europe, Canada, Australia, LATAM, APAC, and other global locations.Advise on a wide spectrum of employment issues such as HR policies, investigations, terminations, hiring practices, compensation and performance management.Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, Employee Relations, and local legal teams, as well as external counsel.Provide legal guidance on Works Council matters in key European jurisdictions.Oversee employment-related litigation and internal investigations.Contribute to global corporate initiatives including M&A, compliance, and organisational restructuring.Support HR compliance and manage employee disputes and escalations.Develop and implement employment policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements.Promote legal awareness through training and internal resources.Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to support employment law compliance and risk management.RequirementsQualified Lawyer with in-house or private practice experience (12 PQE+ as a guideline)Extensive knowledge of UK/European employment law and regulations.Prior experience working for a large global business is preferred.Exceptional communication and leadership skills.This is a fantastic time to join such a well-established, yet growing organisation, and if you are looking for a progressive role, or a platform to advance your career further, please do reach out.
