Owen Reed is looking to recruit a HRIS Manager for a top law firm in London on a permanent basis.Type Permanent - Full Time Location London Job Role Human Resources Hybrid working : 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH We are seeking an experienced HRIS Manager to be responsible for the firm's global people system (SelectHR) and to play a pivotal role in reviewing our HR technology platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and rolling out improvements, overseeing the delivery of regular management reporting requirements and working with HR colleagues to ensure data is accurate. Working as part of the HR function, you will manage a team of 2 HRIS Analysts and oversee the day to day management of our current HRIS platform, SelectHR and reviewing our HR technology needs for the future. You will be responsible for ensuring SelectHR remains supported, focusing on system builds, applying patches/releases, data flows, security, reporting and analytics. This role combines your technical excellence, HRIS system and business knowledge, helping to ensure our critical HR systems meet the needs of the firm both now and in the future. Areas Of Focus And Responsibilities Core HR systemsEnsure that HR data is captured timely, accurately, and consistently and that integrity is maintainedIdentify, analyse, and correct technical issuesLead and manage any mandatory upgrades, ensuring all patches are fully tested and appliedAct as the first point of contact for the IT and finance systems teams, building relationships and ensuring data is transferred and shared across the firm efficiently through integrations and accurate reportingDevelop, and maintain security and permissions architecture as defined by the firmOversee the delivery of regular reports to the business, assisting or providing guidance with writing reports where necessary. Oversee report design.Instil best practice within the HRIS team, ensuring all functional and technical changes are documented and requirements are collated and signed off by the relevant business teamsManage all SelectHR environments ensuring Test/UAT environments are regularly refreshedManage and coordinate global and regional systems projects, leading change management and training activities as necessaryAllocate HRIS resources to plan and manage high intensity annual processes, such as appraisals and salary reviewsMonitor and enhance service delivery standards to ensure Service Level Agreements with Access (Vendor) are met or exceededActs as Technical Lead for SelectHR, producing functional and technical specifications for agreed development work and working with team to prioritize and manage development requestsAct as an escalation point for system issues, working to resolve issues in a timely and proactive mannerManage all relevant project management tools, RAID, Actions logs, providing direction to HRIS team on activities and prioritiesFuture development of HR systemsAct as the Technical lead on any new HRIS implementationParticipate in discussions regarding future systems by evaluating current systems and making recommendations aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing user experienceProject manage all system updates and upgrades across the firm ensuring changes are thoroughly tested and communicatedWorking closely with the data lead to ensure data migration and integrations to the new HRIS are fully tested and implementedPlay an active role in firm wide discussions regarding Data GovernanceFully utilise the capabilities of the system by looking at additional functionality whilst improving the use of existing functionality and managing the change associated with thisWork closely with the finance systems team to enhance people reporting and continuously developmanagement informationLook for new ways to improve processes and services, analysing options and presentingrecommendationsWork with the IT team to roll out upgrades and development of the systemIdentify reporting and systems improvement opportunities and work to implement and roll out changesProject managementResponsible for the delivery of HRIS BAU projectsConsult with and challenge relevant stakeholders to ensure the right systems solutions are deliveredProvide HR systems input and expertise to other cross functional projectsOther tasksMaintain confidentiality of data and departmental security at all times. Skills And ExperiencePrevious HRIS systems experience at manager level is essentialPrevious team management experience is essentialImplemented and managed Global HR systems in previous rolesExperience with SelectHRWorked with global stakeholders to gather requirements and map HR processesExcellent Excel and skills to interpret and manage complex dataStrong experience with reporting tools (PowerBi preferred)Project management qualification (eg.
