Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned tier 1 main contractor on a landmark project near Reading. The business operates across the UK, undertaking projects across a range of sectors including student accommodation, healthcare, defence and education valuing in excess of £100mil. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within a strong commercial team, responsible for managing your own packages and reporting into the Commercial Manager. The business is one which prides itself on providing opportunities for their staff to progress both professionally and personally, with clear progression pathways laid out from the day you join. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Manage sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variationsManage monthly valuations and liaise with the client Deal with final accounts Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position: Have a HNC / construction related degree Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contractMust have the full right to work in the UK Must live within commutable distance to Reading and be happy to commute to sites as required.This is an opportunity to join a business with a project pipeline in the region which will keep you busy for 5+ years.
