As part of their growing HR function, they are now seeking a Benefits Manager to join on a 12-month contract. Based in Derby with flexible hybrid working, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape and enhance employee wellbeing through strategic, high-impact benefits programmes.As Benefits Manager, you’ll take ownership of the company’s Total Reward and benefits offerings, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing employee experience. From managing flexible benefits and car leasing schemes to vendor relationships and policy design, your role will be pivotal in making benefits more accessible, relevant, and valuable to the workforce.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the Company Fleet and Employee Car Leasing Schemes, including improvements and complaint managementManage enrolment, communication, and compliance of benefits programmesSupport employees with complex benefit queries not resolved through standard support channelsMonitor costs, analyse benefit usage data, and identify opportunities for optimisationCollaborate with internal teams (Payroll, Tax, Procurement, Wellbeing) and external benefit vendorsBenchmark against market trends and ensure benefit offerings remain competitiveLead projects such as benefit programme rollouts or platform upgradesContribute to the development of benefit policies and communicationsSkills & Experience Required+5 years of experience in benefits management within a large enterprise environment + 10 years of experience working as HR.Strong knowledge of UK benefits legislation and vendor managementExcellent analytical, project management, and communication skillsProficiency with HR systems, benefits platforms, and payroll toolsProven ability to provide outstanding stakeholder and employee supportContract DetailsDuration: 12-month contractLocation: Derby (1–2 days onsite per week)Daily rate: £550 per day - Umbrella companyReady to make a real impact on employee wellbeing?
