This short-term assignment (initially 6 months, with a possible 6-month extension) will be delivered on-site at a flagship innovation hub in London.The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to international innovation initiatives within a high-performing and cross-functional team. We are looking for London-based professionals with a solid background in procurement, especially within international or innovation-focused environments.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Procurement Assistant will be expected to:· Administer day-to-day procurement and contracting operations.· Prepare correspondence, reports, tables, presentations, and procurement-related documentation.· Manage external contracts and monitor terms, renewals, and vendor spending.· Support staff mission, travel, and hospitality arrangements.· Respond to enquiries, draft routine documents, and manage internal communications.· Assist in procurement budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.· Maintain IPSAS-compliant records, classified files, and tracking systems.· Monitor procurement status, ensure document accuracy, and coordinate briefings.· Support project execution and reporting related to procurement.· Contribute to improvements in workflows, systems, and procurement practices.· Support stakeholder engagement and clarify procurement document requirements.· Perform other related duties as assigned.Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a relevant field.10+ years of professional experience in procurement roles.At least 1 year of experience working with international organisations, IFIs, or similar multilateral institutions.Proven track record in public-sector, international, or innovation-driven settings.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Must be a resident of UK or have the right to work in the UK.How to ApplyIf you meet the qualifications above and are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV to: tender@.tr with the subject line: London – Staff Augmentation – Senior Procurement Assistant, until 23 July, 2025.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submissions are strongly encouraged.
