Senior Insight AnalystRole OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Senior Insight Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to various programmes within the NHS. If you are passionate about healthcare and have a strong analytical mindset, we want to hear from you.Role Scope:Full time hours - 37.5 per weekA fixed-term agreement to March 2026A remote work schedule What you’ll gain:Here at our organisation, we're all about valuing your hard work and commitment:Competitive Pay (AFC Band 6) £37,338 -£44,962 per annum pro-rata, dependant on your experience and the number of years you have worked in the NHS.State-of-the-Art Technology: Our employees get to work with the latest and most advanced technologies available.Commitment to Professional Growth: We foster innovation, teamwork, and advancement by offering complimentary training and development to all staff.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.Utilise SQL and Excel to extract, manipulate, and analyse large data sets.Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.Develop excellent relationships and support effective communication to ensure data integrity and the implementation of data-driven improvements.Knowledge & Skills:Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area such as data science/health economics.Proven experience in a data analysis role, preferably gained within the NHS or Healthcare setting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, whilst R & Python are desirable.You will have an understanding of healthcare data sources, NHS data standards, and information governance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and accessible manner.Next Steps:We value independent thinking and risk-taking.
