Senior Technical Product Manager – Core PlatformLondon or Remote (UK) | Global Leader in Digital Asset ManagementA global leader in the Digital Asset Management space is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager focused on core platform services and engineering enablement. This is a high-impact role supporting the scale of cloud-native infrastructure and machine learning services, empowering engineering teams across the business to deliver at speed and scale.Core Technical MissionOwn the vision, strategy, and execution for core internal services – cloud infrastructure, reliable platform operations, and engineering productivity.Drive the evolution of foundational technology, enabling scalability, innovation, and new product capabilities across multidisciplinary engineering and data teams.Technical EnvironmentCloud InfrastructureLead development and optimisation of AWS-based platform services, including Amazon ECS for container orchestration.Ensure scalable, resilient, and cost-effective systems for internal engineering teams.Microservices & API GatewaysGuide distributed system architectures and internal service integration.Define best practices for service-to-service communication and data management.AI & ML EnablementSet vision for MLOps platforms and streamline machine learning workflows.Enable deployment of traditional and generative AI models into internal platforms.Developer Experience & DevOps ToolingShape strategy for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring frameworks.Enhance developer productivity, deployment velocity, and system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain product roadmaps for platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML tooling.Act as primary product partner to engineering, SRE, and data science teams.Lead initiatives that boost developer experience, system observability, and engineering efficiency.Foster a culture of enablement, documentation, and adoption for internal tooling and platforms.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong technical foundation (e.g. CS degree, former engineering experience, or hands-on product ownership in technical environments preferred but not essential).Proven success in building and scaling core platforms, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and API services.Deep, practical knowledge of AWS, distributed systems, CI/CD, IaC, DevOps principles, and observability tooling.Direct collaboration with engineering/SRE teams on internal tooling and shared services.Track record of delivering internal products that boost developer workflows, reliability, or deployment velocity.Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, MLOps, and deploying machine learning models into production environments.Core Focus AreasCore Platform EngineeringDeveloper Experience (DevEx/DX)Engineering ProductivityDevOps ToolingObservability SolutionsPlatform as a Service (PaaS)Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Cloud-Native ArchitectureIf you're passionate about building foundational platforms and tools that empower world-class engineering teams, this could be a brilliant fit.
