Job Description

We’re working with a highly respected, international HE consultancy that’s expanding its senior team. This is a remote Associate Director role focused on the leadership and delivery of strategic health economics projects across early-stage development, evidence generation, and market access support.You’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring a growing team, leading on complex modelling engagements, and shaping early-stage value strategy for healthcare interventions across global markets.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of health economists across a range of project types and seniority levelsProvide technical direction on economic modelling projects (CEA, BIM, CUAs etc.) and ensure the robustness of client deliverablesSupport early-stage value development strategies for pipeline assets (e.g. early modelling, value frameworks, payer positioning)Act as a strategic lead across key client programmes, working closely with technical specialists, project managers, and senior stakeholdersOversee quality of outputs across economic models, HTA materials, RWE integration, and communication pieces (slide decks, manuscripts, etc.)Identify and support opportunities for internal process improvement, resource planning, and team developmentContribute to proposal development, client engagement, and thought leadership activities as neededExperience6–8+ years of experience in health economics consulting or applied researchStrong foundation in economic modelling and HTA strategy, ideally within EU/UK settingsDemonstrable leadership experience: team development, project oversight, and client-facing deliveryExcellent understanding of value demonstration for healthcare products — ideally with exposure to early value strategy or pre-HTA activitiesStrong communication, problem-solving and organisational skillsA relevant degree (e.g. health economics, statistics, epidemiology, data science); a PhD or MBA is a plus
