This is a great role for a GERMAN or ITALIAN or Arabic speaking administrator with some Purchasingexperience! The company is a specialist business that is a purchasing “hub” for customers across the world who are looking for specific engineering spare parts. The Head office is in Colchester where the team will take orders from customers and then source technical products globally for dispatch. This is a classic PURCHASING ADMIN or BUYING ADMIN role in which you will be taking inbound enquiries from customers who will ask you to source certain pieces of heavy industrial equipment. Your role is to source that piece of equipment produce quotations, add a fair “ finder’s fee” and then liaise with the warehouses who will dispatch it . Delightful role for an Administrator with the ability to create quotations and source products. The role is office based and you will have the opportunity to take formal Purchasing qualifications in order to support your career aspirations. The company is a specialist business and acts as a purchasing “hub” for heavy industry and manufacturing clients across the world who are looking for specific components. The business employs about 100 staff globally and the Head office is in Colchester where the team will take orders from clients and then source technical products globally for dispatch. This is a classic senior level technical customer care and purchasing role in which you will be taking inbound enquiries from clients who will ask you to source certain pieces of heavy industrial equipment. Your role is to source heavy industrial equipment and then liaise with the client and international suppliers add a “finder’s fee” and then organise the logistics around dispatch. A lovely Buyer role! THE ROLE:You will be supporting customers in order to understand the spare part that they need , source that part and agree price and delivery . Nice and straight forward role! Speaking to the customer/understanding their needsTaking in customer enquiries & understanding their needsDoing the detective work and finding new suppliersUse of languages to source products from the USA. Europe and the Far EastCreating quotations for customers. Adding a finder’s fee to the quoteFinding the supplierLocating the new supplier Liaising with suppliers to understand if they have the item in stock and tier delivery time frameNegotiate and agree on pricing and supplier delivery termsReviewing technical drawings (Gaskets, Valves (actuated and manual), Flame arrestors, Tank treatment) to make sure the spare part meets the customer’s requirementsOrganising the delivery /logisticsLiaise with the warehouse to arrange all the logistics around deliveryPost-sales buyer administrationREQUIREMENTS:Fluent English with either German or Italian or ArabicCar driver essentialAfter sales admin support experience OR some buying experienceAble to create complex quotations
