Our client is expanding their supply chain team and is looking for a Supply & Sourcing Manager to join them during an exciting period of growth.Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that fresh produce moves smoothly from international growers to major UK customers. You’ll initially work Monday to Friday, then transition to a rolling 4-on/4-off shift pattern with hybrid working options.Collaborative Team: You’ll be part of a knowledgeable, calm, and collaborative supply team that supports one another — even when the pressure’s on.Key Responsibilities,Managing day-to-day sourcing and movement of fresh produce from international suppliers to UK customersCoordinating logistics and freight, reacting to last-minute customer demands, shifting stock, and crop changesTaking ownership of supplier and customer communication — including problem resolution when things don’t go to planMaking decisions under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment involving perishable goodsSupporting continuous improvements in the supply process, systems, and customer satisfactionWhat You’ll Need to SucceedPrevious experience in a relevant role within a supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations settingStrong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesConfidence in dealing with both suppliers and customers — clear communication is keyA working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelRelevant Backgrounds/ Roles:Supply Chain Executive, Logistics Coordinator, Procurement Assistant, Supply Planner, Category Executive, Stock Controller, Import/Export Administrator, Operations AssistantSectors such as:Fresh Produce, Horticulture, Chilled Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Perishable Freight, Food Distribution, Dairy, Meat, Seafood, Pharmaceuticals (cold-chain), E-commerce grocery, Agriculture tech, or Food-focused 3PLInterested?If you're looking for a role with real impact in a business that values initiative, ownership, and agility, I would love to hear from you.
