Senior Data Scientist | GenAI & Speech-to-Text FocusRemote (UK-based) | Up to £80,000 + benefits | Consultancy | ASAP start preferredWe’re exclusively partnered with a global data consultancy to help grow their applied AI team.Following strong client demand, they’re now hiring a Senior Data Scientist to support the design and delivery of real-world Generative AI solutions – particularly focused on LLMs, speech-to-text, and NLP.You’ll work alongside other Senior and Lead Data Scientists, contributing to high-impact projects for enterprise clients across industries including finance, tech, energy, and public services.What You’ll Be DoingBuilding and deploying LLM and speech-to-text applications for client use casesContributing to solution design, from modelling approaches through to evaluation and deliveryProcessing and structuring large-scale text and audio dataWorking cross-functionally with engineering and delivery teams to productionise modelsCommunicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupporting junior team members and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative environmentWhat They’re Looking ForStrong background in Python and applied machine learningExperience with LLMs and NLP, particularly around speech-to-text or customer feedback analysisAbility to contribute to client discussions, understand business needs, and translate them into ML solutionsFamiliarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g. HuggingFace, Scikit-learn, PyTorch)Comfortable working in a consultancy-style environment with multiple projectsNice to HaveExperience with prompt engineering or fine-tuning LLMsCloud platform experience (Azure, GCP preferred)Exposure to MLOps practices and deployment workflowsPrevious work in customer analytics, personalisation, or sentiment analysisYou’ll report to a Lead or the VP of Data Science depending on the project, and join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where GenAI is a strategic priority.
