Placed by Leon has partnered with a well-respected fine watch brand that is a leader in Haute Horlogerie.My client is seeking a Boutique Director to lead a successful and loyal sales team that create memorable experiences for their clients. Key AccountabilitiesDrive the growth and desirability of the Brand through external networking and client eventsBuild strong relationships with Personal Shopping teams.Initiate in-boutique events and strategic partnerships to increase sales and trafficStay informed about local market dynamics and competitor activitiesLead CRM and clienteling efforts, collaborating with the boutique team to deliver a personalized client experienceCultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients and new prospectsExpand and manage the VVIP client databaseAchieve both qualitative and quantitative targets aligned with Brand objectivesDevelop and implement action plans to meet boutique and Maison sales goalsMonitor and analyse boutique performance, sharing insights and best practicesDemonstrate strong sales leadership by setting and tracking KPIs for team membersDrive adoption of new tools and services; manage boutique operations according to Brand and Group complianceEnsure adherence to Brand standards and proceduresAct as a Brand ambassador, upholding the Maison’s values and ritualsServe as the main point of contact for Group and International HQ, facilitating visits and eventsMaintain the integrity of Brand image across client interactions and within the local luxury communityBuild an effective boutique team through strategic recruitment and talent developmentFoster individual motivation through tailored coaching, feedback, and development plansIdentify training needs and conduct ongoing coaching and role-playing exercisesInspire a cohesive team spirit, clearly communicating the Maison’s vision and strategyLead by example with professionalism and commitment to performance excellenceManage performance proactively to exceed expectations and meet defined KPIsKey Requirements:Minimum 4+ years of experience in retail management, preferably within high watchmaking or high-value luxury product sectorsProven track record in driving boutique performance across sales, client engagement, and operationsDeep understanding of clienteling with a strong service and hospitality mindsetExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with accuracySelf-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented approachAvailability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekendsProficient in English; additional languages are a plusStrong customer service orientation with precise knowledge of client needs and expectationsSolid knowledge of the local luxury retail market, with specific familiarity with Harrods being an assetProficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is advantageousThe role will include a team and personal bonus, which will significantly increase the annual take home salary.
