Provide a secure and stimulating environment where children can develop emotionally and intellectually as well as morally, physically, spiritually and socially, at their own pace. Maintain the safety, security and wellbeing of the children in our care. Undertake work positively as part of the team, contributing ideas and listening to feedback, to guide development of our practice and care.Skills And ExperiencePossess an understanding that each one of us is different and ensure that individuals who use our services are respected and given the best experience. Experience of working with children under the the age of 5 years. Excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to maintain clear and accurate records. Possess and maintain a solution-focused approach. Possess a belief in the value and potential of children and young people as individuals and as a group. Possess a natural empathy and passion for working with children. Team player but also able to work on own initiative. Self-motivated and flexible. Ability to provide emotional and social support whilst promoting learning and respect. Willingness to learn and accept leadership and mentoring input. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent attendance and punctuality record. Commitment to providing a high standard of customer care. Flexible attitude and willing to adapt to new challenges.QualificationsHold a level 2 qualification or above relevant childcare qualification. First Aid qualification or a willingness to learn.
