Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Vision: Lead the Pre-School by establishing a clear vision and fostering a positive culture that aligns with our school’s values of Respect, Honesty, Perseverance, Fairness, Kindness, and Trust.Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of all children.Planning and Assessment: Take charge of weekly planning, preparing and organising day-to-day activities and resources. Support the assessment of children’s learning and maintain accurate records to track progress.Key Worker Role: Act as a key worker for a group of children, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their individual needs are met.Collaboration: Work effectively with other staff members in both directed and free-flow activities, facilitating a rich learning environment both indoors and outdoors.Operational Support: Assist the Manager in devising and implementing rotas and timetables, ensuring smooth daily operations. About youIdeal Candidate: Qualifications: You should hold (or be nearing completion of) a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Certificate. Higher qualifications are advantageous.Skills and Experience:Strong understanding of child development and how young children learn. Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Enthusiastic, flexible, caring, and patient, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
