What You’ll Be Doing Joining us as an Assurance Manager, You will be a good people manager who is confident in developing relationships with new and existing clients, helping to identify opportunities and pitch for new business. You will support our Directors, and wider service line in providing high-quality business advice and assurance services. Acting as the primary contact for clients, you will manage a full portfolio, using your knowledge and skills to add value to their service. You will be responsible for the overall quality of individual assignments and delivery of a complete product with due regard to budget. This will require completion of audit planning, fieldwork, and collaboration with your team(s). You will work with other members of your service line to scope client requirements and ensure that assignments are carried out in a timely manner and within specified budgets. What You’ll Need to Succeed Proactive time, budget and fee management Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in external audit, within a UK accountancy firm External audit experience across a variety of sectors (e.g. corporate, not-for-profit, financial services) Managing a portfolio of audit clients Proven track record in planning, executing and completing audits to a high standard Strong grasp of UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISA standards Familiarity with audit software Experience managing and mentoring audit juniors and seniors Liaising with partners and other departments on technical and commercial issues Why Join Duncan & Toplis?
