Based in Portsmouth, the company prides itself on its commitment toquality, innovation, and collaboration —values that are deeply embedded in everything they do.Role Purpose:You’ll be responsible for leading a team of logistics and dispatch operators, ensuring daily operations such as goods receipt, storage, inventory movement, and dispatch run safely and smoothly. As a visible leader on the shop floor, you'll promote best practices, drive continuous improvement, and support the wider production team.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily logistics and dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate task completion. Motivate and support logistics operators, creating a strong culture of accountability and teamwork. Serve as the point of contact for materials movement and production readiness issues. Ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP). Manage stock handling, including bin control, linefeed replenishment, and investigations. Champion health, safety, and 5S standards across all logistics activities. Comply with export/import controls and HSE protocols. Support cross-skilling and team flexibility through training.
