In this role, you will provide high quality customer-focused digital library services, supporting a vibrant community of learners, educators, and researchers.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAssisting users both in person and online with their queries Managing library resources and equipment, offering first-line technical support, and guiding users in digital literacy. Designing and delivering workshops, inductions, and creating digital learning materials. Collaborating with technical teams to maintain and enhance digital library resources. Contributing to library projects, representing the department in meetings, and sharing best practices.The term-time working pattern is: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:15 am to 6:00 pm according to the needs of the timetable. During vacation, hours will generally be 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:15am to 6:15pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.UAL Library Services operates a hybrid working pattern, with some working from home where operational needs allow.Your profileWe are seeking a candidate with a degree-level qualification and/or relevant digital skills, with experience in a library or digital education setting.Essential Skills IncludeExcellent written and oral communication, with an ability to make users feel welcome. Some knowledge of information management.
