Fund/Manager Research AnalystWe are currently representing a well established Asset Management Firm who are looking to add a Fund/Manager Research Analyst to their team in London. Key responsibilities and requirements:Investment due diligence on alternative UCITS managers and offshore hedge fundsGeneralist strategy coverage, with a focused on equity long/short and EMN strategies on a global basisDay to Day tasks: Hedge Fund manager research - monitoring of managers; sourcing managers; documentation and report writing; assist Sales team with client requestsSome travel requiredKey Skills and Experience:Investment 2-7 year related experienceCompetent capital markets background - familiarity with fixed income and derivative marketsTechnical competency to perform quantitative analysis on managersA self-starter who has a 'can-do' attitude, can quickly analyse internal and external requirements and focus on managing often challenging delivery expectationsSuperior attention to detailA strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with the senior management team and internal teamsEffective writing skillsA proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skillsAn independent thinker with a high level of integrityExcellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise effectivelyThe ability to remain level headed when managing multiple tasks to often tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft office programs with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisiteDegree level education For further information about this position please apply here.
