We are working on an exciting opportunity, representing a reputable Housing Association, based in the Midlands, who are looking for a Repairs Team Leader to join their team on an initial two month temporary contract.The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £21.00 - £23.00 per hour via an umbrella company.The ideal candidate will have experience working with trade operatives and contractors within social housing or the public sector.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Recording and uploading trade referrals on in-house housing management systemsEnsuring jobs are accurately diagnosed and prioritisedInforming customers of follow up appointments, ensuring that arrangements are made for access to propertiesDealing with inbound and outbound calls from tenantsLiaising with contractors to co-ordinate worksAnswering queries and enquiries from customers in relation to repairs being carried out in tenanted propertiesSupporting the Repairs Team with co-ordinating worksAnswering and dealing with low level complaintsExperience & Skills required:Experience required in Social HousingKnowledge of repairs and maintenance departmentsSkillful in coordinating repairs worksExperience working with customers within housingAble to deal with low level tenant complaints regarding repairs and maintenanceWorking hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 8am-4pmPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
