SAP MM/WM Functional Consultant - Birmingham - Aerospace An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing business at the forefront of innovation in the aerospace sector. This is a chance to be part of a forward-thinking, technology-driven environment that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance delivery across its operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver business-as-usual support for SAP MM/WM modules and lead rollout activities across multiple sitesImplement and optimise SAP template solutions based on defined business requirementsAct as the main point of contact for procurement, inventory, and warehouse management within SAPLead workshops and requirement gathering sessions to define and document solution specificationsConfigure SAP systems and ensure functional design meets business needsCreate and maintain user documentation and deliver end-user trainingWork cross-functionally with stakeholders and external partners to manage change requests and deliver enhancementsSupport integration with other SAP modules, including Production Planning (PP) and ProcurementRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM/WM (ECC and/or S/4HANA)Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation projectsStrong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processesProven experience in SAP solution design, configuration, and testingUnderstanding of SAP master data management and module integration (e.g. PP, IM)Ability to influence and engage with both technical teams and business stakeholdersStrong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to manage priorities independently and deliver under minimal supervisionExperience mentoring junior team members is an advantageKey CompetenciesResults-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomesStrong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesAdaptable and resilient in changing environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and decision-making abilitiesFamiliarity with SAP queries and reporting toolsContinuous improvement mindset and ability to identify optimisation opportunitiesCandidates must be willing to be onsite in the Midlands or North London 4 days per week, this role does not offer Visa Sponsorship.
