JMC Aviation are working with a component repair company based in Saffron Walden (relocating to Braintree in Autumn 2025), looking to recruit a new Commercial Administrator to join their team.This client specialises in component repairs for a wide range of commercial aircraft from electrical to mechanical and interior to welding. The company offers a warm welcoming environment with a great team environment, aiding their employees in honing their skills providing outstanding customer service.This is a Permanent Position based in Saffron Walden (relocating to Braintree in Autumn 2025).40x hours per week, working days – 08:00-16:30.Salary and BenefitsAnnual Profit Share SchemeOvertime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate29 days holiday including Bank Holidays40-hour week Monday to FridayWorking hours: 8:00-16:30Nationally recognised Training provided and career development opportunitiesCompany Uniform Provided and all necessary PPEEmployee Assistance ProgrammeThe RoleThe role holder will report to the Commercial Manager and the primary purpose of the job will be to act as the first point of contact for customers to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of their airline components from arrival at the facility to their safe return in order to maximise the efficiency of our operation and deliver the highest standards of customer service.Other duties involve:Regular liaison with customers to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of airline componentsProduce accurate estimates for repair orders including all labour and materials required and record via AerotracProduce reports via Aerotrac for customers, weekly tracking their repair orders and their statusChecking and chasing customer repairs against agreed delivery deadlinesSeek timely approvals to maximise production capacityRespond to questions and queries by customers relating to their repair ordersLiaising with production and customers to drive throughput of workProvide to customers honest appraisals of delivery times through regular updatesBuild rapport and trust with customer base through consistent high quality service levelsIn order to be successful in this role the Commercial Administrator will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:Experience within a similar role in an Aviation MROIT literate with knowledge of AerotracGood communicator, negotiator and customer focusedIf you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.Please note that due to the high level of applicants we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates regarding this role.For this opportunity JMC Aviation Ltd is acting as an employment agency.
