Due to exciting growth plans across the north, they are looking to recruit an ambitious Head of HR with the capability and desire to develop with the business as it scales. The Role;This role reports directly in to the MD and will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decisions within a supportive, close-knit group. Focused on the North region, it requires strong on-site presence to drive regional growth across locations such as Nottingham, Sandbach, Crewe & Stoke. The successful candidate will lead a refresh of the 3-year people strategy, aligning it with business goals whilst bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to the wider business. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Leadership team: Work closely with the Senior Management Team to support growth plans and upskill leaders across the north whilst embedding leadership development programmes.Lead Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process from advertising roles and liaising with the marketing team to coordinating interviews, issuing contracts, and ensuring full compliance with pre-employment checks (e.g., DBS, right to work, references).Ensure HR Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, including absence, training, and induction tracking, as well as DBS compliance and contract changesDevelop Induction & Retention Strategies: Create a group-wide induction programme and launch a retention strategy that includes meaningful staff benefits.Support HR Compliance & Best Practice: Regularly review and update HR policies in line with legislation and CQC guidance.
