So, if you’re after some tasty beer with a difference you’ve come to the right place.The RoleFancy joining an innovative company where you’ll support the coordination, organisation and performance of the inventory control team, while ensuring accuracy and health are effective monitored and managed? In this role, your success will be measured by the successful control of all processes associated with this as well as the collation and publishing of departmental metrics and management.What You’ll Be DoingInventory Management• Manage site Inventory Controllers in day-to-day performance of role• Collaborate with warehouse, planning, purchasing and packaging to forecast and align material availability and storage levels• Implement proactive inventory control measures to avoid stockouts or overstocking of raw materials, packaging and finished goods• Effectively motivate the Inventory controllers to focus on clear communication• Documenting, updating & adherence to Inventory policies and procedures• Identify and recommend to the Warehouse Stock manager new Ways of Working (WoW) to effectively manage stock control• Audit cycle count schedules ensuring they are maintained and adhered to, alongside performance of own count schedules• Carry out first line investigations for discrepancies in reported quantitates for Warehouse Stock Manager authorisation• Ensure any associated training required to perform and coordinate month end stock counts is completed, including new WoWs defined to optimise and increase the accuracy of such counts• Audit rotation of stock and effective management of AoS (Age on Sale) & waste• Provide recommendations in mitigating any risk associated to SLOB itemsReceipt, Despatch & Planning• Audit receipt accuracy identifying training needs from failure points• Close Excise Movement Control System (EMCS) tickets for receipts of beer from third party.• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely despatch from BW & LW sites• Oversee inventory control and forecasting to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to support Secondary Distribution• Generate and analyse reports to support planning and decision making• Coordinate the staging and availability of raw materials and packaging for planned production.Inter Depot Transfers (IDT)• Coordinate with business partners & key stakeholders to define and establish IDT schedules.• Manage the stock transfer process in SAP & WMS across both sitesSales & Laboratory Orders• Coordinate with the laboratory teams to understand support in QA management, coordinating execution through team and measurement of turnaround timesCompliance• Ensure compliance with HMRC rules for movement of inventory held in duty suspense.• SAP key user responsible for training of new users, identifying and implementing best practices• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to with escalation of risk or unsafe behaviour to line management through Near Misses.• Define process and system testing workflows tracking performance by area to locate and solve problems in data integrity, productivity and efficiency.Metrics• Stock integrity• Stock rotation• Waste targets• Reverse LogisticsWhat you bring to us• Previous experience as an Inventory Control Team Lead• Strong experience managing a team of Inventory Controllers – leading and developing talent• IT skills – Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word with SAP and Power BI experience• Practical experience managing and successfully delivering projects• Knowledge of Inventory management principles and best practices• Strong stakeholder management skills• Team player with a positive attitude can do attitude• Thorough attention to detail• Ability to perform well under pressure• Strong problem-solving skills• Organisation and time management skills• Flexibility
